Qatar Issues Warning to Single World Cup Fans

Fans attending the World Cup in Qatar this year have been told they could suffer up to 7 years in prison if they conduct extramarital sex or outside of marriage sex.

It begins on November 21st and FIFA has cautioned fans to be on polite and courteous behavior when the event begins. UK law enforcement is concerned about people being punished for doing regular stuff during and after games, which they say will not be an exception.

Sex is “off the menu”

A shocking announcement met fans bewildered as attending the World Cup 2022 in Qatar couldn’t be more perplexing. Fans have been advised that they might face up to 7 years in prison if they engage in a one-night stand.

In this Muslim-majority country, having outside of marriage sex is against the law no matter what the circumstances are or who is involved.

Police in the United Kingdom have voiced concern over the lack of knowledge that fans have about the country’s laws and customs, and have urged citizens to “be prepared.” Sex is a non-option unless you come as a husband and wife pair, a police insider said in an interview.

There will be no one-night stands at the tournament. The only exception to this rule is if you want to avoid spending the rest of your life in prison, there will be no partying allowed.

It’s not quite shocking given their previous statements

Fans who are familiar with Qatar’s culture and religion will not be surprised by this news. In Qatar, it is also a crime to engage in same-sex relations, and if caught, you could face jail time. Arrests and public displays of affection are both possible outcomes of a couple living together while not legally married.

Qatar has had to deal with a number of problematic stories recently, including hotels refusing to accommodate gay couples because homosexuality is illegal in the State of Qatar.

When it comes to Qatar’s 2022 ฟุตบอลโลก, FIFA accepted the news and indicated that it will again communicate with all service providers to inform them of strict standards that must be observed while welcoming people to the event.

In this year’s World Cup, FIFA has also indicated that it will conduct regular inspections to make sure all service providers are adhering to the regulations.

After-game drinking and partying, which is commonplace in most countries, will be rigorously outlawed by the Qatari government. Even yet, there will be only a few stations where this will be permitted, and not at the larger stadiums at all.

Facing the consequences

It is unlawful to have outside of marriage sex in Qatar, according to gov.uk, and you might be sentenced to up to seven years in prison. Even if it is reduced to a year, it would still be a serious punishment.

The CEO of this winter’s event, Nasser Al-Khater, recently admitted that public displays of affection in Qatar are a real problem for him.

It’s possible to be arrested for any kind of public sex. As previously established, homosexuality is a crime punishable by seven years in prison in Qatar.

The CEO believes that the security and safety of each and every fan is their greatest priority. As he continued, he stated that public shows of affection are looked down on in their culture and hence must be respected.

Smugglers of drugs into Qatar may face the death penalty, according to reports earlier this month. In response to criticism, FIFA has stated that “all are welcome” when the World Cup begins in less than five months.
